Motorcycle Racer Dies Of Injuries at Ascot (By Associated Press) LOS ANGELES, April 13, 1924:

Ray Weishaar, 31 years old, nationally known motorcycle racer, died tonight of injuries he received at Ascot speedway here today when his motorcycle skidded on a turn and crashed into the fence. His death was unexpected, surgeons having predicted that despite internal injuries sustained in addition to a broken leg, he probably would recover.
