Hello loyal readers and riders! Let me introduce myself, my name is Seth Shoemaker. Two years ago I purchased a beautiful 1999 V-star 650 custom. It was my first bike, and I loved every second I spent straddling her between my legs. As I gained confidence in my riding, I found myself wanting a little bit more. I’ve always loved the old school look of the bobber; lets be honest, they just do not build them like they used to! I said to myself, why can’t I do that? So here I am, bobbed out and loving it! I have to give a MASSIVE shout out to my friends over at Blue Collar Bobbers for helping me out. My entire build came from parts they supplied. The leather seat is extremely high quality leather. I replaced the stock bars with 36” drag bars, added black bullet rear turn signals, aluminum rear fender, low profile mirrors, a new paint job and some high heat ceramic paint on my chrome pipes and BAM, a nasty looking bobber! Trust me when I say this guys, if you are thinking about turning your bike into a bobber but are unsure, just do it! If I can build this, so can you! Thanks again to Blue Collar Bobbers!
